Before you start
- The quote is a draft and the catalogue line has been calculated.
Step by step

Open the product line and press Breakdown.

Use the pencil beside the row you want to change. Enter hours or the measure offered, or enter its cost.

Save. The edited row is marked Edited, with the calculated figures crossed out so you can compare.

Read the line total and margin before sending. Put back to restores a row’s calculated figure.

Calculate again if you change the product choices. Matching edits are kept; read any notice about an edited row that no longer exists.
Tips & gotchas
- This never changes the product recipe. For a repeat change, edit the product instead.
- Minimum charges still apply. A locked selling price or a price you typed for the line still controls its sell total.
- Alternative quantity offers use their own recipe calculation and do not inherit these breakdown edits.
