ReAct’s tools are gated by the same 70+ per-user permission grants as everything else. Admins pick the approval mode; every mutation shows a card before it saves; every action lands in the audit trail. Floor staff’s ReAct can’t see a price — because floor staff can’t.

A recipe is a list of plain sentences: uses this board, covers the sign, plus 10% waste; runs the printer for 5 minutes per square metre. Offer a choice — gloss, matte or no laminate — and the lines that follow it switch on with the pick. A smarter product builder, pricing corrected, and paperwork that reads right
- A material can now be priced off a roll of a set width or a fixed amount per sign, a calculator can be attached to a product and answered straight from its own questions, and a cut-letters calculator works out area, cutting length and pierce counts from typed letters or a real font.
- Wall graphics now quote for the full printed area and the trimming they need, a department's minimum charge applies properly, a margin you set on a line stays put, and job setup time is billed correctly.
- A job sheet prints the sign's name and code once, an invoice line to Xero states the code and size once instead of twice, and a quote's price breakdown reads in groups with a subtotal for each option.
Sign-in, sending, invoicing — and your own words on the job
- Floor staff now land straight on their own screen when they sign in, opening a staff invitation that was already used no longer logs you out of your own account, an invitation now stays open for a full day, an administrator can send a fresh invitation if the first one goes stale, and a shop without access to Reports can still download its own quotes
- A quote emailed as a PDF is now labelled as one, a quote is marked as sent only once it has actually gone out, the greeting on a quote email now uses the contact's own name, and every email Sign OS has sent on your behalf can now be checked in one place to see whether it arrived
- Invoicing is more accurate — an invoice raised by hand for a job with GST now generates properly, every invoice lists each sign, the delivery and any surcharge separately, in the same words the customer read on the quote, Xero shows "Delivery" instead of a shipping method name, the cent on an invoice total now matches the money paid, a paid website order reaches Xero within seconds, and an invoice stuck on "sending" now returns to the queue on its own
A website of your own, and paperwork that says what it should
- Your storefront is now yours to set up end to end — every section has a control that works, you can write up to ten pages of your own, your reviews show straight from the review service you already pay for, and the footer carries your own logo and real brand marks instead of grey letter boxes
- Delivery can be a line the customer can see, added on top of the signs and typed either including or excluding GST, and a catalogue sign now prints its size on the quote
- A quote is faster to build: a new contact or address can be added without leaving the quote, a large catalogue opens on categories and a search instead of drawing every product first, and a sign can be found by the code you order it by

What is Sign OS?
One connected platform for a whole sign company — CRM, estimating, quoting, production, scheduling, purchasing, invoicing and accounting, plus ReAct, an AI assistant that works inside all of it. Instead of ten tools that don't talk to each other, every stage of a job lives in one place.
How mature is the platform?
The core loop — quote, produce, purchase, dispatch, invoice — runs in production today, along with your own no-code online store, custom domains, VIP & multi-shop supplier/installer portals, two-way Xero and QuickBooks accounting sync, desktop file sync for Windows and Linux (macOS is not ready yet), versioned artwork proofs with customer sign-off, and custom reports. Storefront card checkout is available once your Stripe account is connected and verified — until then, orders land as enquiries for you to confirm and invoice. Two things are built but not switched on yet: the MYOB connection (MYOB charges for developer access, so it waits until enough shops need it) and the Outlook/Gmail tag companions (connecting a mailbox still needs us to set it up with you). The status board above reflects the current release.
How does quoting stay accurate?
You define each product as a recipe once — materials, machine time, labour, markup. The deterministic engine then prices every quote the same way, deriving usage, waste and time automatically. Overrides are always allowed and always visible.
What exactly can ReAct do today?
Find any record in plain English, create and update quotes, jobs, customers and POs (every write behind an approval card), navigate the app for you, and summarise live production. It runs under the same per-user permission grants as your staff, and admins choose how strict approval mode is.
What about my accounting system?
Sign OS generates operational invoices and syncs two-way with Xero and QuickBooks today — sending invoices out and reading payment status back. The MYOB connection is built and tested, but MYOB charges for developer access, so it stays switched off until enough shops need it; we won't put a date on it. Sign OS is not the general ledger; your accountant keeps their system.
Who sees what?
Roles plus 70+ per-user grants control everything down to line costs, margins and buy prices. Floor staff never see a dollar figure. Approval policies can gate quote sends, invoice issues, PO sends and variations.
