Changelog

Customer-facing highlights from recent Sign OS releases. For ops detail see the internal build log — this page stays plain language.

  1. 2026-08-03

Repeat orders & a proper customer account page

    • Copy any quote or job to a new quote in one click — the repeat order your customer just rang about
    • Every customer now opens on an account overview: open quotes, money awaiting payment, jobs in production, sales this year and lifetime, what they buy ranked by spend, and your win rate
    • Quote lines carry their own title and separate wording for the quote and the job bag, defaulted from the product
  2. 2026-08-02

Artwork sign-off and getting goods out the door

    • Artwork approvals are their own job tab: versioned proofs, every page reviewed and ticked separately, signed by finger or mouse — and an approval on v1 can never apply to v2
    • Approve with changes no longer releases production on its own; somebody has to read the notes and release it, and that is recorded
    • Outbound board for dispatch — collections, deliveries and installs, filtered by how they are going out, what state they are in and when they are due
    • Branded delivery docket the driver can hand over and get signed, on the tablet or on paper
  3. 2026-07-30

Channel letters, and describing a product out loud

    • Channel-letter designer prices the quote straight off the layout you drew, using a real LED module range
    • Talk to build rebuilt: describe a product in your own words and get a working recipe, test-priced on the real engine before you ever see it — a draft that would price at $0 is blocked, not shown
    • Quantity price breaks on hardware and items
    • Plain-English error messages, instead of database errors, when something goes wrong
  4. 2026-07-23

Proofs, payments readiness & shop switching tools

    • Guest proof-review links so customers can approve artwork without a portal login
    • Storefront card payments only unlock when your Stripe account can actually take charges
    • CSV import for products and open jobs, plus customers, materials and suppliers
    • Installer portal works better offline — photos and notes queue and sync when you’re back online
  5. 2026-07-22

    Reliability foundations

    • Error tracking with shop context so issues are visible the moment they happen
    • Hourly health checks that prove each shop’s catalogue still loads for real staff roles
    • Browser smoke tests that sign in as estimator, production, installer and VIP — not only as super-admin
  6. 2026-07-21

    Quoting & production depth

    • Exact materials lists from quote snapshots where available, with draft purchase orders for shortfalls
    • Artwork preflight on upload and proof approval as a production gate
    • Vehicle wrap panels and vector cut length helpers on quote lines
