Send quotes from your own email address
Your customers see your business in their inbox, not ours.
What this is for
By default, quotes and invoices leave Sign OS from a Sign OS address. With your own sending domain they leave from yours — better for your brand, and far better for whether the mail lands in an inbox at all.

Before you start
- This is a paid add-on. Check the price for your plan on the pricing page first.
- You will need someone who can add DNS records for your domain — usually whoever looks after your website.
Step by step
- 1
Open Settings → Shop and find the sending domain section.
- 2
Enter the domain you send business email from, and add the add-on.
- 3
Add the DNS records Sign OS gives you to your domain. There are usually three or four.
Note: This is the step that needs your web person. Nothing sends from your domain until the records are live and verified — until then mail keeps going out the old way rather than failing.
- 4
Wait for verification. DNS can take minutes or hours; Sign OS re-checks on its own.
- 5
Once it is verified, send yourself a test quote and check who it says it is from.
Tips & gotchas
- Use the domain you already send business email from. A brand-new domain nobody has ever received mail from has no reputation, which is the opposite of what this is for.
- Keep the records in place. Removing them later silently sends your mail back to the Sign OS address.
