Find anything: Search and Ask ReAct
The search box at the top of the sidebar finds jobs, quotes, customers, products and screens.
What this is for
You should never need to remember where something lives. Search anything, at the top of the sidebar, matches a job or quote number, a customer, supplier or contractor name, a product, a stock item or a hardware item — and the settings screen you are trying to find. Ask ReAct, just under it, is for questions rather than lookups.
Step by step

Click Search anything… (or press the shortcut shown in the box) and type at least two characters — a job number, a customer name, 'corflute', 'watchdog'.

Results are grouped by kind: jobs, quotes, invoices, customers, suppliers, contractors, products, stock, items, and pages. Use the arrow keys and Enter, or click.

For a question rather than a thing — 'which jobs are due Friday', 'what did we quote Baywater last time' — use Ask ReAct.
Tips & gotchas
- Typing a screen's name ('regional', 'email domain') is faster than finding it under Settings.
- Search respects what you are allowed to see; someone without price access gets no invoices back.
