Meet ReAct, your AI assistant

What this is for
ReAct is the AI assistant built into Sign OS. Stuck on how to do something, or not sure where a feature is? Ask ReAct in plain English and it answers using what it knows about your shop and where you are in the app. It is the 'ask someone who knows' button, any time.
What is on this screen
Each part of the screen above, top to bottom, and what changing it affects.
The ReAct panel
- Ask ReAct (sidebar) · Open / Close ReAct AI
- Opens the chat panel over whatever screen you are on. Resize chat panel drags it wider.
- Tell ReAct what to do… · Dictate with your voice
- Type, or press the microphone and speak (Listening… speak now). Stop dictation ends it.
- The conversation
- Answers, and the screen it read to give them. Three dots show while ReAct is thinking; Stop response stops it.
- Choice buttons
- When ReAct needs a decision — which customer, approve or not — it offers buttons rather than making you type.
- Rate the assistant response from 0 to 5 · note
- Your rating and correction help us find mistakes and test improvements. They do not automatically train a model on your shop records.
Before you start
- Your shop has ReAct and requests left this month. Settings → Connections → AI sets which of its changes need approving; there is no on/off switch.
Step by step

Open ReAct from the assistant bar near the top of the sidebar.

Type your question the way you would ask a colleague — 'how do I add a machine rate?'

ReAct answers, and can point you to the right screen.
- 4
Keep the conversation going if you need to dig deeper.
Tips & gotchas
- There are no wrong questions — if you are unsure, ask ReAct before hunting through menus.
- ReAct is only available to your team, never the public.
- What you ask ReAct only goes to AI hosts that don't collect the data sent to them.
