Sign up and sign in with Xero
Start a trial with your Xero login, and sign in with it after.
What this is for
Sign up with Xero starts your free trial from your Xero login: Sign OS takes your name, email and business from Xero, links your books, and opens Import from Xero so your customers and suppliers come straight across. After that, Sign in with Xero on the sign-in page signs you in with no password.

Sign up and sign-in pages
- Sign up with Xero
- On the free trial page. Log in to Xero, tick your business, and your trial starts with Xero linked. Any email works, including Gmail.
- Sign in with Xero
- On the sign-in page. Signs you in with your Xero login once it's linked to your Sign OS account.
- Which business is this?
- If you tick more than one business in Xero, you choose the one that makes the signs. The others are left unlinked.
- You already have a Sign OS account
- If your Xero email already has a Sign OS account, you enter that account's password once to link them. Sign OS never joins accounts on an email alone.
My account
- Sign in with Xero · Stop signing in with Xero
- Shows when you can sign in with Xero, and turns it off. Your shop's Xero link for invoices is separate and stays as it is.
Before you start
- You have a Xero login that can connect apps to your business.
Step by step

On the free trial page, click Sign up with Xero.

Log in to Xero and allow Sign OS, ticking the one business this shop is.

You land in Sign OS on Import from Xero. Read your Xero, choose what comes across, and click Import.

Next time, click Sign in with Xero on the sign-in page.
Tips & gotchas
- If Xero can't link your business (your Xero login may not be allowed to connect apps, or the business already has two apps waiting on Xero's approval), you're taken to the email sign-up with your name and email filled in. Link Xero from Settings once you're in.
- If you use a code at sign-in, Sign in with Xero still asks for it.
- A trial that ends without a plan has its Xero link paused. Subscribe and press Connect to pick up where you left off.
