AI-powered signage quoting software — with prices you can defend

Most “AI quoting” tools guess. Sign OS splits the job properly: a deterministic calculation engine prices every quote from your product recipes — materials, machine time, labour, waste and markup — while ReAct, the built-in AI assistant, does the legwork around it. Same inputs, same price, whoever is quoting.

Recipes price the job, not gut feel

Every product in Sign OS is a living recipe: substrates, machine minutes, labour steps, options and markup tiers. When a quote is built, the engine derives material usage, waste and yield from real sheet, roll, square-metre and lineal-metre logic — signage-native units, not generic line items.

That determinism is the point. When a customer questions a price, you can open the quote and show exactly where every dollar came from: this much ACM, this much cutter time, this markup band. No black box.

  • ✓Sheet, roll, sqm and lm aware — nesting-style usage, not guesses
  • ✓Waste and yield calculated per material, visible on every line
  • ✓Tiered markup by quantity, size or dollar band
  • ✓Overrides always allowed — and always visible in the audit trail

Where the AI actually helps

ReAct is an operations assistant wired into your shop's data. Ask it to find the last quote for a customer, draft a follow-up, or start a new quote from a plain-English description — it navigates the app and prepares the work, and anything that writes data goes through an approval gate you control.

AI drafts, the engine prices, you approve. That's the division of labour a quoting tool should have — you get the speed without ever sending a price a model hallucinated.

From accepted quote to the factory floor

Accepting a quote creates the job in one click with prices frozen — nothing re-keyed. The job lands on a department timeline with overload warnings, releases to big-button floor boards for cutting, printing and fabrication queues, and QR-coded job sheets let staff clock time against real steps.

  • ✓Quote → job in one click, prices frozen at acceptance
  • ✓Department Gantt timeline with capacity overload warnings
  • ✓Floor tablet boards: start / finish / next — no prices shown to the floor
  • ✓Deposit and final invoices generated from the job, synced to Xero

Built for Australian sign businesses

Sign OS is built and operated in Australia. Plans are priced in AUD with no per-user fees inside generous buckets, invoicing is GST-aware end to end, and accounting flows two-way into Xero and QuickBooks today, with a MYOB connection built but not yet switched on. Terms are governed by Victorian law — not a US contract you can't read.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI actually setting my prices?
No. Prices come from a deterministic calculation engine driven by your product recipes — same inputs, same price, every time. The ReAct AI assistant speeds up the work around quoting (finding records, drafting quotes and follow-ups) and every data-writing action it takes needs your approval.
How long does it take to build a quote?
Once a product recipe exists, quoting is minutes: pick the customer, add lines, hit Calculate, review every costed line and send a branded PDF. Recipes are built once and reused — the first one takes the longest, every quote after that is fast.
What does Sign OS cost in Australia?
Plans start at $89 AUD/month for 3 users, with the 10-user Workshop plan at $169/month — no onboarding fees and no per-user fees inside each plan's bucket. Every plan starts with a free 7-day trial, no card required.
Does it integrate with Xero?
Yes — two-way. Deposit and final invoices generated in Sign OS sync to Xero or QuickBooks, and payment status flows back so your job margins stay live. A MYOB connection is written and tested, but MYOB charges for developer access, so it is not switched on yet.
