Give a discount for bigger quantities
Tiers like 10% off 20 or more, on quotes and the online store alike.
What this is for
Some work gets cheaper per sign the more you make. Quantity discounts take a percent off a product's price once the quantity reaches a figure you set, so nobody has to remember the deal or knock it off by hand.

Quantity discounts card (under Choice restrictions)
- + Add a discount
- A new row: the quantity it starts at, then the percent off. Up to 20 rows.
- … or more → … % off · Remove
- One tier, like 20 or more → 10% off. The biggest tier the quantity reaches is the one that applies.
- Save discounts
- Shows once something has changed. The discounts save on their own, not with Save at the top.
Before you start
- The product's recipe prices correctly at a quantity of one.
Step by step
- 1
Open the product and the Quantity discounts card, below Choice restrictions.
- 2
Press + Add a discount. Type the quantity it starts at (2 or more, a whole number), then the percent off (more than 0, less than 100).
- 3
Add more tiers as you need them. Each quantity once, and a bigger quantity must get a bigger discount: 10 or more at 5%, 20 or more at 10%.
- 4
Press Save discounts. New prices use them straight away; lines already priced change when they are calculated again.
- 5
Test it on a draft quote at a quantity just under and just over a tier. The line shows the tiers as Quantity discount: 10+ 5% off · 20+ 10% off.
Tips & gotchas
- It comes off after the recipe, the volume rate card and a locked price, then the customer's pricing group applies. A price typed on the line still wins.
- The same discount applies on staff quotes, the online store, the VIP portal and a sign added to a job, so the customer never sees a different price.
- A product set to ask for a quote on the store doesn't show its discounts there.
- For a choice that moves the price by a percent instead, like a rush turnaround at +15%, use Price ±% on that choice — see Make a choice change the price.
